Young people who commit serious crimes, such as robbery or violent attacks should be punished as adult. To what extent you agree?

When young offenders commit violent or serious crimes, society must balance public safety with the recognition that adolescents are still developing morally and psychologically. I partly disagree that they should be punished exactly as adults, because serious harm deserves firm consequences but juvenile justice should still prioritise rehabilitation where possible.
