The use of mobile phone is as antisocial as smoking. Smoking is banned in certain places so mobile should be banned like smoking. To what extend do agree or disagree?

Mobile phones have become so common in public life that their social impact is now debated almost as seriously as older public health concerns. I disagree that phone use is as antisocial as smoking or should be banned in the same way, although restrictions are reasonable in places where phones disturb safety, privacy, or shared attention.
