Some people who have been in prison become good citizens later. Some people think that they are the best people to talk to school students the danger of committing a crime. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Former prisoners who have rebuilt their lives can speak about crime with an authenticity that teachers, police officers and parents may lack. I partly agree that they can be effective speakers for school students, but they should be used carefully as part of a broader crime-prevention programme.
