Some people think that the best way to reduce crime committed by young people is to educate their parents about good parenting skills. Do you agree or disagree?

Youth crime is often punished after it becomes visible, even though many patterns of offending are shaped much earlier by family discipline, school attachment and neighbourhood pressure. I agree that educating parents can reduce juvenile crime, but it is not the best solution by itself because young people also need supportive schools, safe communities and credible routes into work.
