Some people think it is one of the best ways to solve the environmental problems by increasing the cost of fuels for cars and other vehicles. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Transport emissions are a major part of environmental damage, so raising fuel prices appears to be a direct way to discourage excessive car use. I partly agree that higher fuel costs can reduce pollution, but it is not one of the best solutions unless governments also provide realistic alternatives to private vehicles.
