International cooperation now shapes both environmental protection and global business through treaties, trade agreements, scientific networks, and multinational institutions. While cooperation has produced important environmental gains, I believe it has brought greater benefits to international business because economic incentives are stronger and enforcement is usually easier in commercial relationships.
