Some people think instead of preventing climate change, we should find ways to live with it. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Climate change is already affecting weather patterns, sea levels, agriculture, public health, and migration, making adaptation an unavoidable part of environmental policy. However, I disagree with the idea that societies should focus on living with climate change instead of preventing it, because adaptation without mitigation would leave future generations facing escalating and potentially unmanageable damage.
