A child’s drawing, a folk song, and a museum masterpiece may all be called art, yet they clearly differ in technical skill and cultural significance. This tension explains why some people believe anyone can create art, while others insist that true art requires special talent. In my view, artistic expression is available to everyone, but exceptional art usually demands unusual ability combined with disciplined practice.
