Some experts suppose that when a country is already rich, any additional increase in economic wealth does not make its citizens happier. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In wealthy societies, economic debate often shifts from survival to quality of life, raising the question of whether additional national income still improves people's well-being. I partly agree that once basic prosperity is achieved, further wealth brings diminishing returns, but it can still increase happiness if it is distributed fairly and used to improve public goods.
