People should look after their health as a duty to the society where they live, rather than their own benefits. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Health is often treated as a private matter, yet individual health choices affect families, workplaces and public healthcare systems. I agree that people have a social duty to look after their health, but this duty should be understood realistically because not everyone has equal control over diet, exercise, work and medical care.
