People living in 21st century have a better life quality than the people who lived in the previous centuries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Comparing life across centuries requires looking beyond nostalgia, because modern people face stress and inequality but also benefit from scientific, social and technological progress that earlier generations lacked. I largely agree that people in the twenty-first century enjoy better life quality, although this improvement is uneven and should not hide modern problems such as loneliness, environmental damage and mental pressure.
