In a marketplace saturated with images, slogans, and algorithmic recommendations, advertising no longer enjoys the unquestioned authority it once had. Many consumers today are more sceptical of commercial messages, not because advertising has become weaker, but because the public has become more informed, more connected, and more resistant to manipulation. I believe this is largely a positive development, although it creates new challenges for honest businesses trying to reach customers.
