Nowadays more tasks at home and work are being performed by robots. Is this a negative or positive development?

Robots are moving from factories into offices, hospitals and homes, changing not only how tasks are completed but also what kinds of human skills remain valuable. I believe this is largely a positive development because robots can improve safety, efficiency and care, although society must manage job displacement and overdependence carefully.
