Music has always been and continues to be the universal language of mankind. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Music crosses borders more easily than most forms of language because rhythm, melody and emotion can be felt before words are understood. I largely agree that music is a universal language, although its meanings are still shaped by culture, history and personal experience.
