Most of world's problems are caused by over-population. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Population growth places real pressure on land, water, housing and public services, especially in countries where economic development and governance are already fragile. I partly agree that overpopulation contributes to many global problems, but it is too simplistic to treat it as the main cause of most of them.
