More government investment should be on the teaching of science than any other subjects in order to keep a country's development and progress. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Science education is essential for national development, especially in economies shaped by medicine, engineering, artificial intelligence, climate change and technological competition. I agree that governments should invest strongly in science teaching, but not at the expense of other subjects that develop ethical judgement, communication, creativity and civic understanding.
