Many young people change their jobs or careers every few years. What are the reasons for this? Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

Young workers are increasingly less likely to remain in one job or profession for long periods, reflecting a more fluid labour market and changing ideas about success. This happens because of economic uncertainty, rapid technological change and a search for meaningful work, and I believe the advantages usually outweigh the disadvantages when career moves are purposeful.
