It was predicted that with the development of technology, people would have more free time in 21st century. To what extent do you think the prediction has come true?

For much of the twentieth century, technology was expected to liberate people from exhausting labour. Machines would perform routine tasks, computers would accelerate office work, and people would enjoy more leisure than ever before. In reality, this prediction has only partly come true. Although technology has saved time in many areas, it has also created new expectations, faster work rhythms, and a culture of constant availability.
