Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve the growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Traffic congestion and pollution are closely linked to patterns of fuel use, urban design and public transport provision. I partly agree that raising petrol prices can reduce unnecessary driving, but it is not the best solution unless it is combined with affordable alternatives and broader transport planning.
