In some countries, secondary schools aim to provide a general education across a range of subjects. In others, children focus on a narrow range of subjects related to a particular career. which is appropriate in today's world.

Secondary education must prepare young people for adult life at an age when many of them still do not fully understand their abilities or future ambitions. I believe a broad general education is more appropriate for most students today, although older teenagers should gradually be allowed to specialize according to their interests and career goals.
