In many countries, shopping streets, airports, malls, and online marketplaces now look strikingly similar. The same coffee chains, fashion brands, electronic devices, cosmetics, and fast-food outlets can be found across continents. This development has both advantages and disadvantages, but I believe its benefits are limited unless societies also protect local character and diversity.
