Good teaching is more important for academic success than individual ability. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Academic success is shaped by both the quality of instruction students receive and the abilities they bring into the classroom. I agree that good teaching is often more important than individual ability because it can organise effort, build confidence and reduce inequality, although motivated and capable students still play an active role in their own achievement.
