Children can learn effectively by watching television. They should be encouraged to watch TV regularly both in school and at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Children now encounter screens before they can read fluently, which has led some adults to treat television as a regular educational tool. I partly agree that carefully chosen television can support learning, but it should supplement rather than replace active reading, discussion, outdoor play, and teacher-led instruction.
