As part of education, students should spend a period of time living in another country to study its language and culture. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Education is no longer confined to textbooks and classrooms, particularly as language ability and cultural understanding are increasingly needed in a connected world. I agree that students should spend a period abroad if circumstances allow, but such programmes should be carefully supported so they do not become privileges for the wealthy alone.
